PORTOROŽ – The romantic translation of name Portorož into english is Rose Port and it is the capital of Slovenian tourism.

The town scape is dominated by numerous hotel complexes, casinos, wellness and spa landscapes.

PIRAN – The picturesque old harbor town with its narrow streets, which is built on a peninsula in the Italian-Venetian style.

The meaning of the name Piran is a derivation of the Greek word pyr, which means fire, as the original settlement mainly served as a lighthouse for vessels sailing to nearby Greek colony in Aegida near present-day Koper.

Tartini Square became the late 13th century to the main square of Piran, and the current appearance has evolved in the second half of the 19th century.
